On Monday, 19 October 2026, MULTIPLY-6G joined fellow newly launched projects at the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU) Call 4 & 5 Introduction Webinar.
The online event brought together 20 new 6G research initiatives funded under the SNS JU framework across Calls 4 and 5. These projects cover a wide range of technical streams, from advanced architectures and optical networks to security, telco cloud, and vertical trials, all working towards strengthening Europe’s industrial leadership in future mobile technology.
Project Coordinator Arman Farhang, from Trinity College Dublin (TCD), presented MULTIPLY-6G during the session dedicated to Stream B-02 (Wireless Communication Technologies and Signal Processing). The presentation outlined the project’s mission and main ambitions, focusing on how MULTIPLY-6G will tackle physical-layer hardware limitations through multidimensional wave control, spatial optimisation, and energy-efficient design.
Events like this webinar offer an important opportunity to connect with complementary initiatives across the SNS JU ecosystem. By engaging with other projects early on allows the identification of shared technical goals, exchange insights, and contribute to a unified European roadmap for 6G.
Thank you to the SNS JU for hosting the webinar and to everyone who attended the session. MULTIPLY-6G looks forward to collaborating closely with partner projects as work progresses across the consortium.
